Park Yoochun - Unwound Heart Translated Lyrics

Translated lyrics for Unwound Heart (감기지 않은 마음), Track 2 on Yoochun's solo mini album.  ^_^

Because Blogger is being glitchy, I can't put up the Hangeul lyrics without the formatting going craaaaazy, which ticks me off.   >.>

That day, carelessly
Just thrown out words
Now sit looking at me
Isn't it so strange
Even today, I miss you

When I first saw you
As I too was still very young
My heart ungrudgingly gazed at you
Time faded and familiarity saw you
How lonely were you?

Even the white winter beach
You used to say you wanted to go to,
Even the small, sugary cakes
You used to want to eat,
The many hazy hours
We intended to spend together,
They are still waiting for us
But I know now we cannot go back

The fact is, you cannot rewind time
Even though my heart hurts, even though I have regrets
The fact is now they are memories
Day after day, meaninglessly
Look at me, I guess I am still young

Even the white winter beach
You used to say you wanted to go to,
Even the small, sugary cakes
You used to what to eat,
The many hazy hours
We intended to spend together,
They are still waiting for us
But I know now we cannot go back

Isn't it so strange
Even today, I miss you.

Yoochun's lyrics are harder to translate than lots of others.  o_O  Some places I have just gone literal because I'm not entirely sure what it's meant to mean...  If you have any questions, just ask!

Enjoy!  ^_^

Park Yoochun - How much love do you have in your wallet? Translated Lyrics

Translation of the lyrics to How Much Love Do You Have In Your Wallet? (당신의 지갑에는 얼마의 사랑이 있나요?), title track (track 3) on Yoochun's solo mini album.

If one person falls in love,
Another person will say farewell
If I grow one span, two spans,
Then my mum and dad will become smaller
If I walk tap, tap, one step, two steps,
I see we all live the same, with the same dreams

I hope they will all be achieved

Each passer-by
Their brightly smiling faces
Even though life is tiring, just smiling,
The fact is, life is like that

I hope the whole world will be happy

The tramping of the people
The whispered sound is really good
The fragrance of the street too
Since they are mine, they are really good

I hope every day is just like this

Each passer-by
Their brightly smiling faces
Even though life is tiring, just smiling,
The fact is, life is like that

In the end, in this world
You cannot live exactly according to your desire
Even though it is complicated, it's ok
The fact is, life is like that

All the passers-by
With smiling expressions bright as the sun
Though life is tiring
Even if its just through being together, we are happy

I hope the whole world will be happy.

Translator's Note:  I can't figure out exactly how to translate 뚜벅뚜벅...  I think it's basically a walking sound?  I've gone with "tap-tap" at the start, and "tramping" later on, because I can't think of a good English equivalent.

I think this song has a great message about valuing the little things in life.  ^__^

Park Yoochun - Until the Last Album Translated Lyrics

Until the Last Album (마지막 앨범까지..), track 4 on his solo mini album.

I didn't feel it coming
The big stretch widens
Intending to try to pat my tired heart too
Holding a smile in my mouth
As I try to release my first album, I see

Unfamiliar and troubled
A strained expression
Completely different from me now
Appeared in front of the mirror, but
Even though many things changed
What always remained unchanging

Was you at my side
Whether for the smiling memories, or the crying ones
Rather than the little by little lengthening road
I think about us becoming all the more close

When happy days came
A big smile spread
One or two gloomy past times forgotten
The time I can become a new me
As I release a second album, I see

Cool and mature
A face resembling me now
Totally different from the old me
Appeared in front of the mirror, but
Even though many things changed
What always remained unchanging

Was you at my side
Whether for the smiling memories or the crying ones
Rather than the little by little lengthening road
I think of us becoming all the more close

Our daily
Unwavering promise
On the day in the far future we meet again
Like when we met before, we will embrace each other

You at my side
Whether for the smiling memories or the crying ones
Although I don't know when we shall meet again
That time too, while smiling we will greet each other warmly.

Translator's Note:  It's not entirely clear (at least to me?  ^_^;) who is embracing who, and who greets who warmly at the end there.  Korean often leaves the subject of the sentence to context, but in the context here I think it could be him embracing and greeting his fans, or then embracing him, either way makes sense to my mind.  So I went with a bit of both?

I love this song!  Thanks, Yoochun, for a meaningful thank you to your loyal fans.  ^___^
